Q. How do I get a promotion?
A. Upon joining there is a Grace Period, where all new recuits remain a FRESHMAN for no less than 15 days before promoted to MEMBER.
-
Membership into the guild of Eternal Defender is not a gift, it is earned, neither can it be bought. The grace period does not automatically qualify a Freshman for full Membership, you Must exhibit a degree of Activity and Participation.
Q. Can I have an alternate character in the guild too?
A. We understand that not everyone wants to play their main character all of the time, but we do not want to inflate our guild numbers artificially. Alternates are allowed in the guild to a maximum of two, under the following conditions.
- Your main character is a minimum of level 40
- Your alternate is a minimum of level 30
- You can add another alternate if your main is level 60
- If you leave the guild, all of your alternates will be removed from the guild unless you contact the guild leader or presbyter to request that one remain. If you are removed from the guild, this is no longer an option.
Q. Do I have to donate to the guild?
A. Donating to the guild is *NOT* a requirement. We don't want people to send us their hard earned coin or items because they feel like we are making it a requirement. This guild is here to help *YOU* - the member whenever we can. All we ask is that if *YOU* feel that you have enough to spare to give to the guild, that you do so. BUT, it is *ALWAYS* our guild mates choice to donate items or coin to the warehouse -- or not to donate.
Q. How do I donate and get items out of the guild warehouse?
A. Items can be donated to the guild warehouse in the same way you add items to your personal character warehouse. Items can Only be removed from the guild warehouse by the guild leader or one of the guild presbyters.
-
You must be a Full Guild Member in good standing to request a warehouse item.
-
Some items, such as Rare or Blue items, Precious Gems, and other "special" items are typically sold for the benefit of the guild warehouse fund.
-
NO ITEMS from the guild warehouse, should be removed and sold for the purpose of any 1 individual of the guilds personal gain.
-
If a Rare item or precious gem is removed from the warehouse to increase the level of an item for an individual, then that item should be replaced or paid for at that time for the benefit and honor of the guild.
YOU are totally responsible for your characters. This is inclusive of any other person whom you allow access to your character account. ALL guild rules apply to your character account as well as the conduct of the person in control. This rule is absolute.
Q. I have a problem with another guild member, what do I do?
A. Eternal Defender strives for a 'Drama Free' enviornment for all of our members, but we are a guild of many personalities from many places and age groups. No one is going to agree with everyone else 100% of the time.
We have Guild Officers, who are chosen for there potential to be mature when it comes to dealing with member problems, and the ability to present themselves in a serious manner when dealing a members issues with another member or person in the game.
We want you to be happy as a member of Eternal Defender, and we hope our guild can increase the entertainment value of the game for each member. If you have an issue with another guild member; DO NOT argue it out or fight with a fellow guildmate. Seek out a Guild Officer and let them know an issue exists. If your issue or problem is of a more serious nature, go directly to a Guild Presbyter or the Guild Leader. Every guild related issue or problem will be will be given fair and unbiased attention and every issue will be resolved to the best of our ability.
